For the Season of Layers
From October to March, most of what you wear is knit — grey, oatmeal, navy, black — and knit swallows small jewelry. A long station necklace is the answer the season asks for: color placed at intervals down the chest, visible over wool, still quiet enough for a Tuesday.
What You Get
Weight: 50g
Materials, Plainly Stated
The amber-tone beads are a translucent composite — warm, even, and stable in color, and they will not cloud or craze the way some natural amber does. The agate stations are natural stone, so banding and tone vary from strand to strand.
How to Wear
Long over a sweater, single strand — the default, and the reason it exists.
Doubled, if the length allows: two shorter strands, one high one low.
Layered with a fine silver chain, sitting shorter, so the amber reads as the warm note.
Care
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Keep it away from perfume and hairspray — the composite is durable but the surface can dull. Store it hanging or coiled loosely; a tight coil in a drawer will put a memory in the strand that takes a week to fall out.
A Note on Color
Agate is natural, so no two strands are identical — some run cooler, some warmer, and the pattern in each station is its own. The amber-tone beads are matched by batch, which is why the strand as a whole reads even.
